We're no strangers in Aotearoa to managing Natural Hazards. However, the change in frequency and intensity has seen the growth of new methods, data, and technologies to assess and operationalise physical risk management.
This session will cover some recent research and technology advancements being used by Urban Intelligence, an innovative research and software start-up based in Ōtautahi Christchurch to assess direct and indirect risk within our urban (and rural) environments.
At Urban Intelligence, Mitchell drives initiatives that empower communities, organisations, and iwi to make informed choices. His work centres on:

● Collaborating with local councils to implement data-driven solutions
